...The flood advisory continues for the Duck River...
Duck River Near Hurricane Mills affecting Humphreys County
. The Duck River near Hurricane Mills continues to fall and is expected to
fall below action stage by tomorrow afternoon. Around one inch of rainfall is
expected through the weekend which could cause some minor rises along the Duck
River.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

The Flood Advisory continues for
The Duck River Near Hurricane Mills
* Until Friday afternoon.
* At 08AM Thursday the stage was 22.1 feet.
* Flood stage is 24.0 feet.
* The river will continue to fall to near 19.3 feet by tomorrow morning.
* At 24.0 feet...Flood waters approach low lying portions of Hurricane Creek
Road near Hurricane Mills, and other roads in the area are flooded including
Tumbling Creek Road. Agricultural land along the river is extensively flooded
from Bucksnort, to Taylortown and Cedar Grove.
* At 22.0 feet...Portions of Tumbling Creek Road east of Highway 13 are flooded
and may be impassable.
* At 20.0 feet...Portions of Tumbling Creek Road east of Highway 13 begin to
flood and there is significant flooding of agricultural land along the river
from Bucksnort, to Taylortown and Cedar Grove.
