The National Weather Service in Nashville has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Northern Davidson County in Middle Tennessee...
  Sumner County in Middle Tennessee...
  Northeastern Cheatham County in Middle Tennessee...
  Robertson County in Middle Tennessee...

* Until 1115 PM CST.

* At 719 PM CST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain across the warned
  area. Up to two inches of rain have already fallen. Flash flooding
  is already occurring. Please don't take this lightly. Stay away
  from flooded roads and remain on higher ground.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Gallatin, Springfield, Ashland City, Madison, Hendersonville,
  Goodlettsville, White House, Millersville, Greenbrier, Coopertown,
  Westmoreland, Ridgetop, Cross Plains, Portland, Old Hickory,
  Joelton, Orlinda, Mitchellville, Bethpage and Oak Grove.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
