...The flood warning continues for the following rivers in Tennessee...

  Tennessee River At Clifton affecting Decatur...Hardin...Perry and Wayne
  Counties

.Water Levels on the Tennessee River continue to rise and there is now the
potential the river level at Clifton could exceed Major Flood stage Monday
night into early Tuesday morning. Those along the river should continue to
monitor forecasts over the next few days and take the appropriate action.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Avoid flooded areas along the river...And move personal belongings to higher
ground. Never drive through flooded roads as the depth of water may be too great
to pass...Even in trucks or sport utility vehicles. If you come across a flooded
road...Turn around don't drown.

Stay tuned to noaa weather radio or other local media for further information
from the National Weather Service.

The Flood Warning continues for
  The Tennessee River At Clifton
* Until further notice.
* Moderate flooding is occurring.
* Major flooding is forecast.
* Major Flood stage is 385.0 feet.
* At 07AM Saturday the stage was near 377.5 feet and rising.
* The river is forecast to rise to near 386 feet late Monday into early Tuesday.
* At 386.0 feet...In Decatur County, water reaches the second floor of homes in
  the Russ Farm and Martins Landing subdivisions.
* At 384.0 feet...In Decatur County, water reaches the ground floor of house #23
  in the Riverstone subdivision.
* At 381.5 feet...In Decatur County, water reaches the ground floor of house #16
  in the Riverstone subdivsion.
* At 381.0 feet...In Decatur County, water reaches the ground floor of the
  lowest home in the Rivers Edge Landing subdivision.
* At 380.0 feet...In Wayne County, Route 128 north of Clifton is flooded and may
  be impassable. Homes and permanent structures in the Peters Landing area along
  the river begin to flood.
* At 378.0 feet...In Wayne County, portions of Route 128 north of Clifton begin
  to flood.
