  Buffalo River Above Flat Woods affecting Perry and Wayne Counties

. The Buffalo River Above Flat Woods has dropped below action stage. However, additional rainfall over the next few days may cause the river to rise again.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

The Flood Advisory is cancelled for
  The Buffalo River Above Flat Woods
* At 7 AM Thursday the stage was 14.8 feet.
* Flood stage is 22.0 feet.
* Action stage is 15.0 feet,
* The river will continue to fall today, but additional rainfall may cause the river
  to rise again through the wekeend. .
* At 15.0 feet...Water begins to inundate low lying agricultural land along the
  river from northern Wayne County to near Linden in Perry County.
