  Duck River Near Hurricane Mills affecting Humphreys County

.Recent and forecast rainfall will keep water levels high along the Duck River
into the weekend.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

  The Duck River Near Shelbyville
* Until Friday morning.
* At 4AM Thursday the stage was 23.6 feet.
* Action stage is 21.0 fet.
* Flood stage is 25.0 feet.
* The river is expected to crest later today then begin falling.
* At 25.0 feet...Flooding occurs in low lying areas along the Duck River
  throughout the Shelbyville area.

The Flood Advisory continues for
  The Duck River Near Hurricane Mills
* Until further notice.
* At 4AM Thursday the stage was 20.0 feet.
* Action stage is 20.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 24.0 feet.
* The river will rise to near 22.0 feet bt Saturday afternoon.
* At 22.0 feet...Portions of Tumbling Creek Road east of Highway 13 are flooded
  and may be impassable.
* At 20.0 feet...Portions of Tumbling Creek Road east of Highway 13 begin to
  flood and there is significant flooding of agricultural land along the river
  from Bucksnort, to Taylortown and Cedar Grove.
