. River levels along the Cumberland remain high with most locations above or
near Action Stage. With the excessive rainfall in the forecast this week,
there is the possibility that some locations may approach Minor Flood Stage
later this week and into the weekend. Those with interests along the Cumberland
River and its adjacent tributaries are advised to monitor forecasts throughout
the week for updates on rainfall and river levels.

The Cumberland River At Hunters Point
* Until further notice.
* At 9 PM Tuesday the stage was 48.5 feet and steady.
* Flood stage is 52.0 feet.
* The river is expected to slowly rise over the next few days.
* At 50.0 feet...Agricultural land, recreation areas, boat launches, and marinas
along and near the river continue to be inundated including the Drakes Creek
and Rockland areas in Hendersonville, portions of Old Hickory, Cedar Creek in
Mount Juliet, areas near Laguardo, Station Camp Creek in Gallatin, Bledsoe
Creek State Park in Castalian Springs, and Hunters Point in Lebanon.
* At 48.0 feet...Areas along the river begin to be inundated from Beasleys Bend
in Wilson County downstream to Old Hickory Dam. This includes agricultural
land adjacent to the river, recreation areas, boat launch areas, and marinas
in Hendersonville, Old Hickory, Mount Juliet, Lauguardo, Lebanon, Gallatin,
and Castalian Springs.

* Until further notice.
* At 9 PM Tuesday the stage was 43.9 feet and steady.
* Flood stage is 49.0 feet.
* The river is expected to slowly rise over the next few days.
* At 45.0 feet...Inundation of low lying areas along the river continues,
affecting portions of Moss Wright Park on Mansker Creek and industrial
property along Dry Creek. Water begins to inundate the athletic fields at Pope
John Paul II High School, agricultural areas, and Riverside Golf Center.
* At 42.0 feet...Low lying areas along the river from Old Hickory Dam to near
the Hermitage Golf Course begin to be inunudated, and water backs up Mansker
Creek affecting portions of Moss Wright Park.

* Until further notice.
* At 8 PM Tuesday the stage was 42.5 feet and steady.
* Flood stage is 48.0 feet.
* The river is expected to slowly rise over the next few days.
* At 44.0 feet...Areas along the river continue to be inundated, including
portions of the Hermitage Golf Course and the Gaylord Springs Golf Course.
Water is also inundating areas along the Stones River, including portions of
the Stones River Greenway and the Heartland Park athletic fields.
* At 42.0 feet...Low lying areas along the Cumberland River from the Hermitage
Golf Course to near River Trace begin to be inundated. Water is also backing
up on the Stones River and inundating adjacent low lying areas including
portions of the Stones River Greenway.

* At 8 PM Tuesday the stage was 42.3 feet and steady.
* Flood stage is 47.0 feet.
* The river is expected to slowly rise over the next few days.
* At 44.0 feet...Water continues to inundate low lying areas along the river,
including properties on Berwick Trail, areas near Gibson Creek on Denson Ave
and Yale Ave, portions of Opryland near Mc Gavock Pike, and properties in the
River Glen and River Trace subdivisions.
* At 42.0 feet...Low lying areas along the river around Pennington Bend are
inundated from near the River Trace subdivision to the Cumberland River
Greenway bridge in Shelby Bottoms Park.

* Until further notice.
* At 9 PM Tuesday the stage was 38.0 feet and steady.
* Flood stage is 41.0 feet.
* The river is expected to slowly rise over the next few days.
* At 38.0 feet...Shelby Bottoms Park begins to be inundated near the ball
fields, and portions of the greenway trail may be impassable. Water begins to
back up Mill Creek and is inundating low lying areas near Lebanon Pike.
* At 35.0 feet...Low lying areas along both sides of the river are inundated,
including portions of Shelby Bottoms Park.

The Cumberland River At Nashville
* Until further notice.
* At 9 PM Tuesday the stage was 34.2 feet.
* Flood stage is 40.0 feet.
* The river will rise to near 38.3 feet tomorrow evening.
* At 38.0 feet...Water reaches the third grassy area of the riverfront landing,
and is inundating other recreational and greenway areas along the river. Water
also begins to approach industrial properties along the river on Adams St,
Cement Plant Rd, Cowan St, Cowan Ct, and Davidson St.
* At 37.0 feet...Further inundation of the riverfront recreation areas near
Nissan Stadium is occurring, as well as access points along the river and
portions of the Cumberland River Greenway.
* At 35.0 feet...Low lying areas along the river from the I-24 bridge to the
I-65 bridge are significantly inundated, including riverfront recreation areas
and access points near Nissan Stadium. Industrial properties along the river
should monitor further increases in river levels.
* At 34.0 feet...Water reaches the second grassy area of the riverfront landing
and covers most of the recreation areas on the east side of the river near
Nissan Stadium.

* Until further notice.
* At 8 PM Tuesday the stage was 30.0 feet and steady.
* Flood stage is 34.0 feet.
* The river is expected to slowly rise over the next few days.
* At 32.0 feet...Low lying areas continue to be inundated, including portions of
the Cumberland River Greenway, the ballfield in Bordeaux Gardens Park,
portions of the Ted Rhodes Golf Course, and agricultural property of Ed Temple
Blvd.
* At 30.0 feet...Low lying areas along the river from the I-65 bridge to areas
near Tennessee State University begin to be inundated, including portions of
the Cumberland River Greenway, and Bordeaux Gardens Park.

* At 9 PM Tuesday the stage was 40.4 feet.
* Flood stage is 46.0 feet.
* The river will rise to near 46.6 feet Thursday morning.
* At 46.0 feet...Flood waters begin to impact areas along the river, including
agricultural and commercial properties, Riverfront Park, and adjacent
tributaries including Bartons Creek, Red River, West Fork Red River, and
Yellow Creek. Affected locations include South Riverside Dr near TN-48, North
Riverside Dr near Providence Blvd East, Quarry Rd, Kraft St near College St,
and Zinc Plant Rd. Water approaches properties near Salem Rd and Seven Mile
Ferry Rd.
* At 45.0 feet...Water approaches commercial and industrial properties on South
Riverside Dr near TN-48, North Riverside Dr near Providence Blvd East, Quarry
Rd, Kraft St near College St, and Zinc Plant Rd. Water also continues to
inundate agricultural areas and parks along the river, and adjacent
tributaries including Bartons Creek, Red River, West Fork Red River, and
Yellow Creek.
* At 43.0 feet...Water continues to inundate low lying areas along the river,
including agricultural areas, access points, portions of Riverfront Park on
North Riverside Drive, and low lying areas of industrial property on Zinc
Plant Rd. Water also backs up adjacent tributaries, including Bartons Creek,
Red River, West Fork Red River, and Yellow Creek.
* At 40.0 feet...Low lying areas along the river, including agricultural areas,
access points, and portions of Riverfront Park on North Riverside Dr begin to
be inundated. Water also backs up adjacent tributaries, including Bartons
Creek, Red River, West Fork Red River, and Yellow Creek.

* At 9 PM Tuesday the stage was 61.0 feet and slowly rising.
* Flood stage is 67.0 feet.
* The river will rise to near 65.6 feet Thursday morning.
* At 66.0 feet...Low lying and agricultural areas along the river and adjacent
tributaries begin to be inundated. Near Dover, water begins to inundate the
boat ramps and launch areas on Bellwood Landing Rd and Cross Creek Rd, and
approaches Eagles Nest Dr near Short Creek Rd, and River Rd west of Highway
79. Water approaches properties on Atkinson Dr, TN-49, Wildcat Creek Rd east
of Highway 46, and the ferry access points on Highway 46.
* At 64.0 feet...Low lying areas along the river and its adjacent tributaries,
including agricultural areas and access points are inundated.

The Stones River Near Donelson
* Until further notice.
* At 9 PM Tuesday the stage was 27.2 feet and steady.
* Flood stage is 35.0 feet.
* The river is expected to slowly rise over the next few days.
* At 29.0 feet...Water continues to inundate the Stones River Greenway between
Percy Priest Dam and Lebanon Road, and has completely inundated the park area
on Jackson Downs Blvd. Low lying areas near the Heartland Park athletic fields
begin to be inundated, as well as low lying areas along Stoners Creek near
industrial property.
