...Flash Flood Watch in effect Tuesday evening through Thursday
morning for Middle Tennessee...

.Rain, heavy at times, will begin falling Tuesday afternoon into
Wednesday, as a warm front lifts north through the Mid State.
Appreciable rainfall over the same locations may lead to flash
flooding. In addition, areas along Interstate 40 that recently
experienced heavy rainfall will be especially susceptible to
flash flooding.

...FLASH FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM TUESDAY EVENING
THROUGH THURSDAY MORNING...

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* A portion of Middle Tennessee, including the following areas,
  Bedford, Cannon, Cheatham, Clay, Coffee, Cumberland, Davidson,
  De Kalb, Dickson, Fentress, Giles, Grundy, Hickman, Houston,
  Humphreys, Jackson, Lawrence, Lewis, Macon, Marshall, Maury,
  Montgomery, Overton, Perry, Pickett, Putnam, Robertson,
  Rutherford, Smith, Stewart, Sumner, Trousdale, Van Buren,
  Warren, Wayne, White, Williamson, and Wilson.

* From Tuesday evening through Thursday morning.

* 2 to 4 inches of rainfall are expected across the watch area.

* Street flooding will be a hazard for travelers. Low-lying and
  poor drainage areas will be at risk for flash flooding, as
  well as small streams.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION.

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
