This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Middle
Tennessee.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Widespread rain will develop across Middle Tennessee Friday
afternoon and Friday night. As colder air moves into the mid
state, some of the precipitation may change to light snow or light
freezing rain after midnight around Clarksville and Dover. Light
accumulations are possible.

During the next week, several fronts and troughs of low pressure
will move across Middle Tennessee, continuing our wet pattern.
Most locations have already exceeded normal rainfall for the month
of February. An additional several inches of rain are expected
during the next 7 days, particularly in areas to the south and
east of Nashville. While flooding is currently not occurring in
Middle Tennessee or along any of our rivers, water levels are
still running higher than usual, and as rainfall totals mount, the
potential for localized flooding and river flooding will
increase, particularly next week.
