This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Middle
Tennessee.
.DAY ONE...Tonight
Heavy rain has moved out of the area and the threat of additional
flooding has nearly diminished for the remainder of the night.
Cold air now coming in behind a front will drop temps to or below
freezing at most locations by morning. Some patchy ice may form
of roadways...especially elevated surfaces.
Additionally, many creeks and streams are running high. Beware
of standing water.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday
The next rain event will begin on Sunday, with wet weather likely
lasting through Tuesday. At this time, it appears that a total of
2 to 3 inches of rain is possible during this multi-day event.
Given the excessive rainfall amounts that fell in parts of Middle
Tennessee yesterday and last evening, additional flash flooding
and river flooding are possible with this active weather system.
.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Reports of measured wind speeds along with any reports of
additional flooding relayed to the NWS Nashville office are
appreciated.
