...Flash Flood Watch in Effect Through This Evening for Northern
Middle Tennessee...

.A strong cold front will bring an additional round of rainfall
to the Mid State through the evening. Additional rainfall totals
up to 1 inch are possible. Areas along Interstate 40 that had
significant flooding last night will be especially susceptible to
some additional flooding. Fortunately, the duration of the
rainfall this evening will be only a few hours.

...FLASH FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT CST
TONIGHT...

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* A portion of Middle Tennessee, including the following counties,
  Cheatham, Clay, Davidson, Dickson, Fentress, Houston,
  Humphreys, Jackson, Macon, Montgomery, Overton, Pickett, Putnam,
  Robertson, Smith, Stewart, Sumner, Trousdale, and Wilson.

* Until midnight CST tonight

* Up to 1 inch of additional rain will fall in areas that already
  have saturated ground conditions from last night's heavy
  rainfall.

* Street flooding will be a big hazard for travelers. Low lying
  areas and poor drainage areas will be at risk for flash
  flooding. Also watch for flooding along small streams.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION.

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
