North central Davidson County in Middle Tennessee...
Northeastern Dickson County in Middle Tennessee...
West central Sumner County in Middle Tennessee...
Northern Cheatham County in Middle Tennessee...
Southern Robertson County in Middle Tennessee...
* Until 1115 PM CST.
* At 814 PM CST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain that will cause
minor flooding in the advisory area...especially near Half Pone
Creek, Dry Creek, and areas near Chapmansboro...Upper Sycamore
Creek including Pleasant View and Coopertown Farms...Lower
Sycamore Creek...Millers Creek including Sandy Springs and
Turnersville...and Carr Creek including Springfield.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Ashland City, Goodlettsville, White House, Millersville,
Greenbrier, Coopertown, Ridgetop, Cross Plains, and Joelton.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or ponding
of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
