The National Weather Service in Nashville has issued a

* Flood Advisory for...
  Northeastern Smith County in Middle Tennessee...
  Jackson County in Middle Tennessee...
  Eastern Trousdale County in Middle Tennessee...

* Until 945 PM CST.

* At 641 PM CST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
  thunderstorms. This will cause minor flooding in the advisory area.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Carthage, Gainesboro, South Carthage, Granville, Pleasant Shade and
  Whitleyville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or ponding
of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
