This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Middle
Tennessee.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Oppressive heat is expected today with heat index values rising to
over 100 degrees west of the Cumberland Plateau this afternoon.
Heat safety precautions are advised for any outdoor activities.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

Dangerous heat is expected again on Tuesday with heat index
values near or over 105 degrees west of the Cumberland Plateau by
afternoon. Heat safety precautions are advised for any outdoor
activities.

Scattered strong to severe thunderstorms will be possible late
Tuesday afternoon into Tuesday evening. Damaging winds are the
main threat, with heavy rainfall and localized flooding also
possible.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will likely be needed Tuesday afternoon and
evening.
