...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR CENTRAL MARSHALL...CENTRAL MAURY
AND NORTHEASTERN GILES COUNTIES UNTIL 415 PM CDT...

At 336 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Columbia, moving southeast at 30 mph.

Half inch hail and winds in excess of 30 mph will be possible with
this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Columbia, Lewisburg, Mount Pleasant, Cornersville, Belfast, Culleoka
and Farmington.

This includes Interstate 65 between mile markers 22 and 44.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
