...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR LEWIS...LAWRENCE...GILES AND
SOUTHWESTERN HICKMAN COUNTIES UNTIL 1145 PM CDT...

At 1038 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Hohenwald, moving southeast at 30 mph.

Pea size hail and wind gusts up to 50 mph will be possible with this
storm.

Locations impacted include...
Lawrenceburg, Pulaski, Hohenwald, Loretto, Summertown, Ardmore, St.
Joseph, Elkton, Minor Hill, Ethridge, Gordonsburg, Kimmins,
Henryville, Goodspring, Leoma, Westpoint, Pleasantville, Prospect and
Iron City.

This includes Interstate 65 between mile markers 1 and 7.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
