At 846 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 6 miles southeast of Red Boiling Springs to
near Watertown. Movement was east at 45 mph.

Pea size hail and wind gusts up to 50 mph will be possible with these
storms.

Locations impacted include...
Cookeville, Lebanon, Sparta, Smithville, Livingston, Carthage,
Gainesboro, Algood, Monterey, Watertown, Baxter, Gordonsville,
Hickman, South Carthage, Alexandria, Doyle, Dowelltown, Liberty,
Hamptons Crossroads and Pleasant Shade.

This includes Interstate 40 between mile markers 239 and 304.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
