The National Weather Service in Nashville has issued a
* Flood Advisory for...
Maury County in Middle Tennessee...
* Until noon CDT.
* At 953 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated showers and thunderstorms
with heavy rain continue to move across much of Maury County.
Doppler radar estimates 1 to 2 inches of rain has fallen in parts
of the county over the past hour, and anywhere from 3 to over 7
inches of rain has fallen since Friday. Any additional rain will
cause minor flooding in the advisory area.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Columbia, Spring Hill, Mount Pleasant, Santa Fe, Culleoka,
Hampshire, Williamsport and I-65 East Of Columbia.
This includes Interstate 65 between mile markers 35 and 52.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
