...Wintry Mix to Impact Northwest Middle Tennessee Tonight into
Thursday...
.An early season winter storm looks to impact parts of the mid
state, with areas in the advisory seeing rain, sleet, snow, and
possibly freezing rain this evening through much of Thursday.
Snow accumulations look to be less than an inch for most of the
advisory area, but sleet and freezing rain tonight could possibly
impact the morning commute Thursday morning. Highest snow amounts
around an inch or more looks to be confined to the far
northwest, with a light glaze of ice as well.

EVENING TO NOON CST THURSDAY...
* WHAT...Mixed precipitation expected. Total snow accumulations
of up to one inch and ice accumulations of a light glaze
expected.
* WHERE...Humphreys, Stewart, Montgomery and Houston Counties.
* WHEN...From 6 PM this evening to noon CST Thursday.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on slippery road conditions,
especially on bridges and overpasses. These hazardous
conditions could impact the morning commute.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow, sleet or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Expect slippery
roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.
