...Locally Heavy Rain expected Late Tonight and Thursday...
.Showers and storms will continue to move across Middle Tennessee
this morning. 1 to 2 inches of rain will be possible in the watch
area. If training of heavier showers and storms occur, some
flooding issues on roads, creeks, and streams could develop.

...FLOOD WATCH NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 AM CDT THIS MORNING...
The Flood Watch is now in effect for
* A portion of Middle Tennessee, including the following areas,
Cheatham, Dickson, Hickman, Houston, Humphreys, Montgomery,
Perry, Robertson, and Stewart.
* Until 7 AM CDT this morning
* Total rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches in the watch area.
* Some flooding is possible on roads, low lying and poor
drainage areas, and along creeks and streams.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on
current forecasts.
You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible
Flood Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be
prepared to take action should flooding develop.
