DE KALB...NORTHWESTERN WHITE AND SOUTHWESTERN PUTNAM COUNTIES UNTIL
1045 AM CDT...

At 959 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles southeast of Gordonsville, or 10 miles north of Smithville,
moving east at 25 mph.

Nickel size hail and winds in excess of 30 mph will be possible with
this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Cookeville, Sparta, Baxter, Center Hill Lake, Hamptons Crossroads,
Bakers Crossroads, Burgess Falls State Park and Edgar Evans State
Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
