The National Weather Service in Nashville has issued a

* Flood Advisory for...
  Southern Davidson County in Middle Tennessee...
  North central Williamson County in Middle Tennessee...

* Until 815 PM CDT.

* At 609 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
  thunderstorms. This will cause minor flooding in the advisory area.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Franklin, Nashville, Brentwood, Forest Hills, Oak Hill, Belle
  Meade, Hermitage, Bellevue, Berry Hill and Bells Bend.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 40 between mile markers 193 and 216.
 Interstate 65 between mile markers 74 and 87.
 Interstate 24 between mile markers 47 and 54.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as
well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.
