This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Middle
Tennessee.
.DAY ONE...Tonight
Rain will change to snow over northwestern Middle Tennessee,
and along the Highland Rim, north of Nashville, late tonight. This
includes areas around Clarksville, Springfield, Portland, Dickson
and Ashland City. Snow accumulations up to 2 inches are possible
in those areas, with accumulations up to an inch in areas further
south and east, toward Nashville, Lebanon and Dale Hollow Lake.
Temperatures are expected to eventually drop to between 29 and 33
degrees in the snowy areas late tonight, and roads may become
snow covered and hazardous.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday
Scattered snow showers will occur over eastern parts of Middle
Tennessee early Monday morning, with snow accumulations of around
a half inch possible. Some spots, especially along the northern
Cumberland Plateau, could see accumulations up to an inch,
including areas around Cookeville, Crossville, Jamestown and
Livingston. Some roads may become snow covered and slippery.
