...Freezing temperatures make a return appearance in Middle
Tennessee this weekend...
Even though the calendar still says it is winter, there has not
been a freezing temperature registered at the Nashville airport
since February 12, which is more than two weeks ago. However,
that's expected to change this weekend, as nighttime lows slip to
the freezing mark over most of the Mid-State. Nighttime lows in
the middle to upper 20s are expected over many areas, especially
along the Cumberland Plateau, Highland Rim, and the normally
colder low lying areas.
So, if you have any tender plants that have been enjoying the
pleasantly mild temperatures outside over the last few weeks, you
should probably bring them in over the next few nights to avoid
damage.
