The National Weather Service in Nashville has issued a

* Flood Advisory for Minor Flooding in Poor Drainage Areas for...
  Cumberland County in Middle Tennessee...
  Northeastern De Kalb County in Middle Tennessee...
  Van Buren County in Middle Tennessee...
  White County in Middle Tennessee...
  Putnam County in Middle Tennessee...

* Until 1215 PM CST

* At 810 AM CST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain that will cause
  minor flooding. Overflowing poor drainage areas will result in
  minor flooding in the advisory area. Up to three inches of rain
  have already fallen.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Cookeville, Crossville, Sparta, Spencer, Fairfield Glade, Monterey,
  Baxter, Crab Orchard, Pleasant Hill, Doyle, Hamptons Crossroads,
  Cumberland Mountain State Park, Bakers Crossroads, Slate Springs,
  Virgin Falls State Natural Area, Burgess Falls State Park, Lake
  Tansi, Indian Rock Lake and Fall Creek Falls State Park.

Additional rainfall of 1 inch is expected over the area. This
additional rain will result in minor flooding.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
