  Northeastern De Kalb County in Middle Tennessee...
  Southwestern Jackson County in Middle Tennessee...
  Northwestern White County in Middle Tennessee...
  Western Putnam County in Middle Tennessee...

* Until 600 PM CDT.

* At 525 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Gordonsville,
  or 7 miles southeast of Carthage, moving southeast at 45 mph.

  HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to
           mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

* Locations impacted include...
  Cookeville, Carthage, Algood, Baxter, Gordonsville, Hickman, South
  Carthage, Hamptons Crossroads, Bakers Crossroads, Burgess Falls
  State Park, Center Hill Lake, Granville and Edgar Evans State Park.

This includes Interstate 40 between mile markers 254 and 291.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
