* Flood Advisory for...
Northwestern Smith County in Middle Tennessee...
Southeastern Sumner County in Middle Tennessee...
Northeastern Wilson County in Middle Tennessee...
Southwestern Macon County in Middle Tennessee...
Trousdale County in Middle Tennessee...
* Until 945 AM CDT.
* At 747 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause minor flooding in the advisory area.
Up to two inches of rain have already fallen.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Gallatin, Lebanon, Hartsville, Bledsoe Creek State Park and
Dickerson Chapel Recreation Area.
Additional rainfall of up to an inch is expected over the area. This
additional rain will result in minor flooding.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 40 between mile markers 231 and 237.
Interstate 840 near mile marker 76.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
