...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR OVERTON...PICKETT AND FENTRESS
COUNTIES UNTIL 1245 PM CDT...

At 1207 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking an area of strong
thunderstorms centered 10 miles east of Livingston, moving east at
35 mph.

Dime size hail, winds in excess of 40 mph, frequent cloud to ground
lightning strikes, and brief heavy rainfall will be possible with
these storms.

Locations impacted include...
Livingston, Jamestown, Byrdstown, Allardt, Grimsley, Clarkrange,
Crawford, Rickman, Pall Mall and Pickett State Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Brief heavy rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may
lead to localized minor flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through
flooded roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
