...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SOUTHWESTERN MARSHALL AND GILES
COUNTIES UNTIL 945 PM CDT...

At 858 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 12 miles north of Pulaski to 10 miles east of
Lexington. Movement was east at 40 mph.

Brief wind gusts to 40 mph will be possible with these storms. Winds
this strong are capable of breaking branches from trees and can
sometimes topple shallow rooted trees.

Locations impacted include...
Pulaski, Ardmore, Cornersville, Elkton, Minor Hill, Goodspring,
Frankewing and Prospect.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Heavy downpours are also occurring with these storms, and may lead
to ponding in low lying areas.
