This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Middle
Tennessee.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Heat index values will peak in the 97 to 102 degree range on Monday
afternoon across much of Middle Tennessee west of the Cumberland
Plateau. Use caution if outdoors for long periods of time, as this
combination of heat and humidity can quickly cause heat exhaustion
and heat stroke.

Widely scattered thunderstorms are expected across Middle
Tennessee once again this afternoon, some of which could become
strong to severe with damaging winds and large hail.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

Widely scattered thunderstorms are anticipated each afternoon
across Middle Tennessee from Tuesday through Sunday. A few storms
each day could become strong to possibly severe, with damaging
winds and large hail possible.

Reports from spotters of any hail or wind damage to trees, power
lines, or buildings would be greatly appreciated.
