...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR MAURY COUNTY UNTIL 515 PM CDT...

At 430 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Columbia, moving south at 5 mph. Other storms were also detected
across Maury County.

Half inch hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with
these storms.

Locations impacted include...
Columbia, Spring Hill, Mount Pleasant, Santa Fe, Culleoka,
Williamsport and I-65 East Of Columbia.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
