...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR NORTHEASTERN MAURY COUNTY UNTIL
715 PM CDT...

At 650 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Spring Hill, or 7 miles northeast of Columbia. This storm was nearly
stationary.

Half inch hail and winds in excess of 30 mph will be possible with
this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Columbia, Spring Hill and I-65 East Of Columbia.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
