SOUTHEASTERN STEWART AND NORTH CENTRAL HOUSTON COUNTIES UNTIL 800 PM
CDT...

At 711 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Tennessee Ridge, or near Erin, moving northeast at 10 mph.

Dime size hail, winds in excess of 40 mph, frequent cloud to ground
lightning strikes, and brief heavy rainfall will be possible with
this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Dover, Erin, Tennessee Ridge, Cumberland City, Indian Mound and
Palmyra.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Brief heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm, which could
lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through
flooded roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
