...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SOUTHEASTERN WAYNE AND WESTERN
LAWRENCE COUNTIES UNTIL 445 PM CDT...

At 420 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 10
miles northwest of Loretto, or 11 miles west of Lawrenceburg, moving
east at 20 mph.

Hail up to dime size, winds in excess of 40 mph, frequent cloud to
ground lightning strikes, and brief heavy rainfall will be possible
with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Lawrenceburg, Loretto, St. Joseph, Westpoint and Iron City.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Brief heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm, which may
lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through
flooded roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
