...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 100 AM CDT
FOR SOUTHWESTERN OVERTON...SOUTHERN JACKSON AND NORTH CENTRAL PUTNAM
COUNTIES...

At 1249 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Algood, or 7
miles north of Cookeville, moving southeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
         roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Cookeville, Gainesboro, Algood, and Rickman.

This includes Interstate 40 between mile markers 290 and 297.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
