This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Middle
Tennessee.
.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight
Snow will begin over northwest Middle Tennessee this afternoon
and spread over most of the remainder of the area tonight. Once
the snow starts, temperatures will rapidly fall to the freezing
mark, and snow accumulation on area roadways will produce
hazardous driving conditions.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday
Snow is forecast for all of the mid-state on Tuesday, but will
taper off from the northwest starting late morning. When all is
said and done, expect most of the mid-state to have an inch or
two of snow on the ground, although some areas will see a little
more, and some a little less. Isolated amounts up to 3 inches will
be possible over the Highland Rim, north of Nashville, and along
the Cumberland Plateau.
Wind Chills of -5 to -10 will be possible on the Cumberland
Plateau Tuesday night.
.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Snow accumulation reports are always appreciated.
