...Caution Advised For Travelers Across Northern Middle Tennessee
Today...
As a result of the wintry mix that fell yesterday, potentially
dangerous travel conditions will continue today along and north of
I-40.
Temperatures will remain well below freezing throughout this
morning and skies will remain cloudy. This will result in little
improvement to patches of snow and ice on backroads, bridges,
and any untreated roads. Also, icy patches will be hazardous to
pedestrians on sidewalks and in parking lots.
Temperatures will stay below freezing this afternoon, but breaks
in the clouds will help bring some improvement. Unfortunately, any
leftover moisture will turn to ice again this evening.
If you must travel in northern Middle Tennessee, please use
caution, especially during the morning hours.
