...The flood advisory continues for the Duck River...
Duck River Near Hurricane Mills AFFECTING Humphreys County
. Even though the precipitation has ended...elevated water levels continue
on the Duck River. The river is expected to remain above action stage
into Wednesday.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

The Flood Advisory continues for
The Duck River Near Hurricane Mills
* Until Wednesday morning.
* At 04PM Sunday the stage was 19.3 feet.
* Flood stage is 24.0 feet.
* The river will continue to rise to near 22.0 feet by tomorrow evening.
* At 24.0 feet...Flood waters approach low lying portions of Hurricane Creek
Road near Hurricane Mills, and other roads in the area are flooded including
Tumbling Creek Road. Agricultural land along the river is extensively flooded
from Bucksnort, to Taylortown and Cedar Grove.
* At 22.0 feet...Portions of Tumbling Creek Road east of Highway 13 are flooded
and may be impassable.
* At 20.0 feet...Portions of Tumbling Creek Road east of Highway 13 begin to
flood and there is significant flooding of agricultural land along the river
from Bucksnort, to Taylortown and Cedar Grove.
* At 16.0 feet...Flooding of agricultural land and other low lying areas along
the river begin to flood from Bucksnort, to Taylortown and Cedar Grove.
