  Piney River Near Vernon AFFECTING Hickman County

.Elevated water levels continue on the Piney River. The river
is expected to remain above action stage at least through early
Monday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

* Until Monday morning.
* At 10AM Sunday the stage was 10.9 feet.
* Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
* The river will continue to fall to near  feet by .
* At 10.0 feet...Water begins to overflow the natural banks and inundates low
  lying areas along the river from Interstate 40 to near Pinewood, Nunnelly, and
  down to the Duck River.
