  Red River At Port Royal AFFECTING Montgomery and Robertson Counties

.Recent heavy rains continue to cause significant rises along the Red River at
Port Royal. The river will crest later today and then begin to fall tonight.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Stay tuned to noaa weather radio or other local media for further information
from the National Weather Service.

The Flood Advisory continues for
  The Red River At Port Royal
* Until late tonight.
* At 08AM Sunday the stage was 27.6 feet...and slowly rising.
* Flood stage is 30.0 feet.
* The river will continue to fall to near 23.4 feet by tomorrow morning.
* At 17.0 feet...The public access parking lot at Port Royal State Park is
  completely inundated.
* At 11.0 feet...Water begins to inundate the public access parking lot and
  picnic area at Port Royal State Park.
