...THE FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 445 PM CST FOR
MARSHALL...MAURY...EASTERN LAWRENCE AND GILES COUNTIES...

At 414 PM CST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause minor flooding in the advisory area.
One to two inches of rain has already fallen.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Columbia, Lewisburg, Lawrenceburg, Pulaski, Spring Hill, Mount
Pleasant, Loretto, Summertown, Chapel Hill, Ardmore, Cornersville,
Elkton, Minor Hill, Ethridge, Lynnville, Culleoka, Belfast,
Goodspring, Leoma and Frankewing.

This includes Interstate 65 between mile markers 1 and 52.

Additional rainfall of a half inch of rain is expected over the
area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, country roads, farmland, and other low lying
spots.
