The National Weather Service in Nashville has issued a
* Flood Advisory for...
Davidson County in Middle Tennessee...
West central Sumner County in Middle Tennessee...
South central Robertson County in Middle Tennessee...
* Until 330 PM CDT
* At 1235 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated showers and isolated
thunderstorms with heavy downpours that will cause minor flooding
in the advisory area. Since the ground is already saturated from
earlier rainfall, you can expect these downpours to produce rapid
run off and minor flooding, especially in low lying and poorly
drained areas. Motorists are advised to exercise appropriate
caution, and avoid areas where water of unknown depth covers the
road.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Nashville, Madison, Goodlettsville, Millersville, Greenbrier,
Forest Hills, Oak Hill, Coopertown, Belle Meade, Ridgetop, Antioch,
Joelton, Berry Hill, Bells Bend, Whites Creek and Beaman Park.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or ponding
of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
