...Gusty Winds Expected Late This Afternoon and into This
Evening...

As a strong storm system continues to approach the area this
afternoon and tonight, wind speeds just above ground level
are expected to increase. Late this afternoon and into the early
evening hours, some of these higher winds will begin to descend
and reach ground level. Therefore, at that time, wind gusts of
between 30 mph and 35 mph can be expected across the Middle
Tennessee area.

Be sure to secure any lose objects that could be effected by these
wind gusts. Also, motorists, especially drivers of high profile
vehicles, should exercise caution late this afternoon and evening.
The gusty winds could make for difficult driving conditions.
