HUMPHREYS COUNTIES UNTIL 700 AM CDT...

At 635 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorms
over McEwen, or 8 miles east of Waverly, moving northeast at 35 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with these storms.

Locations impacted include...
Waverly, Camden, Erin, New Johnsonville, McEwen, Tennessee Ridge,
Hurricane Mills, Lobelville, Mousetail Landing State Park and I-40
Near The Tennessee River.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
