The National Weather Service in Nashville has issued a
* Flash Flood Warning for...
Southeastern Dickson County in Middle Tennessee...
Cheatham County in Middle Tennessee...
* Until 315 AM CDT
* At 1215 AM CDT, emergency management reported flash flooding from
heavy rain across the warned area. Interstate 40 is reportedly
flooded and closed near Burns, with additional flash flooding
occurring in Kingston Springs and other areas. Radar estimates
over 3 inches of rain has fallen so far today. Additional flash
flooding is possible in the warned area.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Dickson, Ashland City, White Bluff, Kingston Springs, Pegram,
Burns, Pleasant View, Charlotte and Cheatham Dam.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
