A very light wintry mix may dust the pumpkins over eastern parts
of the Mid-State today, especially along the Cumberland Plateau.

It will not amount to much, except to remind us that winter is
just around the corner. Some folks may see enough of the sleet,
snow and flurries to dust the grass and the deck, but that's
about it. In fact, sunshine will start to return during the
afternoon and put an end entirely to the light precipitation.

Temperatures will remain cold today, with many eastern areas not
getting out of the upper 30s.
