...Frost Expected Tonight, Especially Across the Upper Cumberland
Region...

.The first chilly air of fall has moved into Middle Tennessee,
and along with that comes the potential for frost.

For Late tonight and into Thursday morning, widespread frost is
expected across the Upper Cumberland Region, with patchy frost
elsewhere across the Mid State.

Looking ahead, another cold front will bring the potential for
widespread frost and some freezing temperatures early next week.

Take action now to protect the most sensitive plants for late
tonight.

Those interested in frost or freezing conditions should monitor
updated forecasts, especially for the colder air expected this
weekend.

  frost if not protected.

* GEOGRAPHIC AREA...the frost advisory for Thursday morning is
  in effect for that portion of middle Tennessee along and
  northeast of a Lafayette to Smithville to Crossville line.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Frost Advisory means that widespread frost is expected.
