...THE FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 200 AM CDT FOR WAYNE
AND PERRY COUNTIES...
At 1236 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain that will cause
minor flooding in the advisory area. A few locations have reported 2
plus inches of rain since 9 pm. The storms have begun to move
northeast and out of the area.. Additional rainfall up to a half
inch is possible...but any poor drainage areas should begin to
recede.
Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Waynesboro, Linden, Collinwood, Lobelville, Flatwoods and Lutts.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or ponding
of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
