...THIS IS A FLASH FLOOD EMERGENCY FOR CENTRAL SUMNER COUNTY...
...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON CDT FOR
CENTRAL SUMNER COUNTY...
At 1037 AM CDT, rainfall has ended across the warned area, however,
runoff into area creeks and streams is still causing dangerous Flash
Flooding. Many roads remain closed and water rescues continue to
occur.
This is a FLASH FLOOD EMERGENCY for Central Sumner County. This is a
PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS SITUATION. SEEK HIGHER GROUND NOW!
Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Gallatin, Hendersonville, Goodlettsville, White House, Millersville,
Westmoreland, Cottontown, Bethpage and Oak Grove.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Move to higher ground now. This is an extremely dangerous and
life-threatening situation. Do not attempt to travel unless you are
fleeing an area subject to flooding or under an evacuation order.
