...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR WEST CENTRAL CUMBERLAND...WHITE
AND SOUTHEASTERN PUTNAM COUNTIES UNTIL 215 AM CDT...

At 149 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of
thunderstorms... some strong...over White County. Some of these
strong thunderstorms were near Sparta, moving northeast at 30 mph.

Brief wind gusts around 30 mph are possible with these
storms...along with heavy downpours.

Locations impacted include...
Cookeville, Sparta, Monterey, Pleasant Hill, Doyle, Hamptons
Crossroads, Bakers Crossroads and Virgin Falls State Natural Area.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
