The National Weather Service in Nashville has issued a
* Flood Advisory for...
Lawrence County in Middle Tennessee...
* Until 800 PM CDT
* At 559 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms moving slowly across the area. Radar estimates up to
two inches of rain has fallen in the past hour near Deerfield. A
quick one to three inches of rain is possible across much of
Lawrence County this evening. This will cause minor flooding in
the advisory area.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Lawrenceburg, Loretto, Summertown, St. Joseph, Ethridge,
Henryville, Leoma, Westpoint and Iron City.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or ponding
of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
